Progress Diary

30 04 2008

30/4/2008: So far in my game I have created an into to my game and also the start screen. Only one button works on the start screen and it goes into the game. In the game I’ve gotten the frog to eat the fly, move around and also change when he enters water or land. I am currently working on trying to get the frog to enter a black circle on the screen so that he moves to the next level.

Today I found out what was wrong (with the help from Brendan) with the next level and I was able to get the next level button to work. After much hassle I was able to get the in game get button to work. I was also able to get a score up. And I’m moving on to build the next level.

07/05/08: Today when I started I started building the next level. After creating all the objects that would be in my level I made them each do their individual things. I made the frog eat all the flies and continue on with the score. I also made the logs kill him and a screen that says so. I fixed some of the problems with the buttons. I also made an interactive instruction page that works and gets back to the menu. I am now starting on the third level but all in all my game is going pretty well.

I chose these screen shots because they have similarities to my game and also because I like the theme of these games and may use them in my game
